  • VAT Reverse charge
  • The reverse charge mechanism is a VAT rule that shifts the liability to pay VAT from the supplier to the customer. It applies to certain situations where the supplier is not established in the country where the VAT is due, or where the transaction is prone to fraud or evasion. The reverse charge mechanism has the following effects:
  • The supplier does not charge VAT on the invoice, but indicates that the reverse charge applies.
  • The customer reports the VAT due on their VAT return as output tax, and may also deduct it as input tax if they have a full right of deduction.
  • The net result is zero for the customer, unless they have a partial or no right of deduction.
  • The reverse charge mechanism reduces the risk of missing trader fraud and simplifies cross-border transactions.
  • The reverse charge mechanism is mandatory in some cases throughout the EU, such as intra-Community supplies of goods or certain services listed in Annex X of the VAT Directive. It is also optional for Member States to apply it to other supplies of goods or services under certain conditions and with prior authorization from the European Council.

  • We ship to all EU member states. Individuals will have to pay including 19% VAT. The reverse charge is only valid for EU companies, registered within VAT scope in their country.

Outside the EU

  • On special request we ship all over the world!
  • Outside the EU you don’t pay Romanian VAT (19%) but you do have to pay for customs and possibly the VAT from your own country on entry.

Romania

  • Because we operate from Romania we offer free shipping for Paddles and Inflatable boards only within Romanian territory
  • * For Hard boards is best to contact us and look for best shipping method.
  • On stock
    Deliveries will be send in 2-3 business days. If the delivery term is expected to be exceeded, for whatever reason, we will inform you immediately.
  • On backorder
  • Please contact us for any other Starboard SUP board which is not in our stock
  • The place of delivery is the address most recently made known to the company, unless otherwise agreed.
  • We want to ensure you receive your item safely and securely. We ask that you inspect the packaging when the item arrives with the courier/shipping company, before signing off the delivery. In the unlikely event of there being any damage please sign for the delivery and write “Damaged’.
  • If the packaging is damaged and the courier refuses to allow you to sign for the package as damaged, please take the time to unwrap and inspect the product prior to signing. If you cannot thoroughly check the goods please sign for them as “Damaged”.  If there is further refusal, please contact the us by phone or email us at office@watercooledsports.ro
  • Please remember it is your responsibility to inspect and confirm that the goods are in perfect condition before signing. If the goods are damaged and not signed for as such, we are afraid that we cannot accept any liability and the item will not be replaced or reimbursed.

Returning a new product:

  • For all EU customer you will have a statutory cooling-off period of 15 calendar days. Within that period you can inform us to cancel the purchase. Refund of the purchase amount will be made after the actual return of the product. All transport costs are for the customer.

Return procedure:

  • Inform us in advance within 15 days after purchase by e-mail office@watercooledsports.ro
  • Items must be unused, undamaged and clean, properly packed to prevent transport damage.
  • You organize the return shipment yourself, you choose the carrier yourself.
  • Refund will be made upon receipt of the goods, within 21 days.
  • Once your return has been delivered and signed for at our warehouse, please allow up to 10 working days for your refund to be processed.
  • You will receive an email to confirm once your refund has been processed and funds should appear back into your account within 3-5 working days, depending on your original payment method.

Exchanges:

  • We do not offer an exchange service at this time. If you require a different product, please do return your item for a refund and a new order can be placed for your preferred product.
